Chapter 7.9.1 Part 1

Hello everyone!

I am working on the String exercises for chapter 7 (part one) I am struggling to “use type conversion to print the length (number of digits) of an integer.”

my code starts with let num = 1001;

-since this is a number, and length only works on strings, I converted the number to a string and printed it out:

console.log(string(1001));

When I attempt to get the length it says undefined:

console.log(num.length)

–shouldn’t it return a number now that it was converted from integers to a string?

I was able to get this figured out—who knew a capital S could make ALL the difference :slight_smile:
